Rigging Inspector

Supported by our highly experienced and innovative engineering team and a world-class fleet, we service complex maintenance and construction projects across the Oil & Gas, Mining & Minerals, Power Generation, Marine and Infrastructure sectors.
Due to our continued growth in the Heavy Lift team, we are seeking an experienced, innovative and driven Rigging Inspector to join our team on a Monday to Friday roster based in Bibra Lake. In this role, you will be responsible for completing day to day task associated with running a rigging equipment testing facility.
The successful candidate key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Perform testing, tagging and inspection of rigging equipment in compliance with NATA certification
• Carry out required repairs to all types of rigging equipment to meet relevant standards
• Assembly of rigging euipment such as chain slings
• Inventory control and completing stocktakes
• Receipting of all incoming equipment and materials
• Picking, packing & dispatching of equipment to required destination

What you will bring

• 2-3 years experience as a rigging inspector
• Current Forklift licence
• Current HR licence (advantageous but not required)
• Current CO crane ticket (advantageous but not required)
• Current Rigging ticket (Intermediate as a minimum)
• Knowledge around NATA compliance and procedures and relevant Australian standards
• Experience working in a warehouse/stores environment
• Sound written skills, able to prepare reports, documents and certificates
• Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills - able to communicate effectively with managers and staff at all levels and respond to their needs and requests
• Great organisational skills, able to operate under pressure
• An innovative approach to continuous improvement and successful delivery methods
• Proven experience delivering safe and reliable construction service solutions and is committed ot safety, wellbeing and development of employees.
