Your new company

The organisation offers a world-class working environment and due to market growth, there is a unique opportunity for a Project Engineer/2IC to work closely with the Team Leader and further develop your engineering, client liaison and project delivery skills in a growing region and team.

Your new role
As a Project Engineer/2IC, you will be responsible for providing technical input on projects regarding urban development, main roads, and local council infrastructure projects. Alongside this, technical excellence and engagement initiatives will be used in developing, resourcing, and mentoring junior engineers. You will be involved in the management and strategic planning for the office.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful within this role you must be a tertiary qualified Civil Engineer and be RPEQ certified. Alongside:

  • Technical expertise in road infrastructure & TMR standards
  • Significant experience within a senior position in an engineering consulting environment
  • Ability to influence and negotiate through effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly developed client relations and stakeholder management skills
