About the Role

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a National Sales Manager – Strategic Partnerships (Insurance Premium Funding), to join BOQ Finance.

Working closely with the Head of Insurance Premium Funding and broader BOQ Finance leadership team, you will play an integral role responsible for maximising business unit division results and supporting the Business Development Managers.

We are looking for a positive and energetic leader to coach and mentor our high performing BDM team, whilst also playing a key role in the acquisition of new strategic relationships.

Our National Sales Manager will naturally need to build and maintain strong external relationships with existing IPF partners and brokers, as well as build a network of industry professionals to assist in identifying new opportunities for IPF. To be successful in this role you will be required to promote a collaborative working environment with our internal BOQ stakeholders.

Along with a strong business development focus, you will lead a team of up to ten BDMs to drive campaigns and business development activity, and drive sales cadence including pipeline reporting and activity.

Our successful candidate will always ensure our partners and brokers are receiving an optimum service experience to help maintain long term relationships. The role will be required to build and maintain a regular relationship rhythm with strategic partners to help facilitate business performance and check in reviews.

You will be instrumental in maximising productivity, effectiveness and activity across new and existing broker relationships and will take responsibility for the development and management of key national accounts as allocated.

About you

To be successful in this role, our ideal candidate will have prior experience within the Insurance industry, an understanding of premium funding and previous experience in a similar role.

Leadership is a key element of this position and we will be looking for an experienced leader who has the natural ability to motivate and mentor a high performing sales team.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills are a key part of the role given you will be leading and communicating with your team on a daily basis, as well as building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Our National Sales Manager will work with a sense of urgency and thrive under pressure and have excellent organisation skills allowing you to do so.
