Job Description

The IT Manager is responsible for the management, maintenance and improvement of the company's core Information Technology and Communications systems. With the support of 2x direct reports, you will assist in ensuring successful operations of 20+ sites across NSW. By owning the entire Technology landscape, you will be afforded the opportunity to lead all Technology decisions as it relates to the business. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels with be the key ingredient to success.

Additional duties will include the following;

• Monitor, evaluate and report on the performance of the IT systems (including but not limited to performances of the hardware, identifying issues, trends and anticipating future requirements),
• Develop and deliver IT&C strategies in line with company business plan to improve system performances and effectiveness
• Prepare and maintain budget for IT expenditure
• Review and obtain approval for invoices for IT expenditure

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

• Proven technical leadership in a small to medium enterprise environment
• Hands on leadership role and technical escalation for all projects and strategic decisions
• Exceptional decision-making and communication skills with broad knowledge across the entire IT landscape
• Exposure to and previous ownership of ICT spend / budgets / vendor relations
• Previous ownership of a company's EUC device management, core Infrastructure and network backbone including hybrid cloud solutions
• Experience working with a multi-site organisation
• Motivation, diligence mentoring and training
• A customer first mindset to drive deep rooted business partnerships
