ICT Systems Integrator (Engineering and Integration) [multiple roles] Level 4 (TSPV)

The role requires creating and operating a continuous integration (CI) capability and employing version control of source code and related artefacts. The Systems Integrator should have experience with Git/Version Control System, Kubernetes, Python and CI/CD systems.
It is expected that the Systems Integrator will be work directly with technical and business stakeholders in/for the Data Innovation and Analytics Directorate to advance large complex government department’s Machine Analytics capabilities.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Work with project managers, product owners, business analysts and senior customers on the design of integrated ICT solutions that support organisational outcomes within the constraints of a technology roadmap.
2. Provide technical expertise to enable the configuration of system components and equipment for systems testing.
3. Collaborate with technical teams to develop new and complex integration builds, ensuring that integration test environments are correctly configured.
4. Escalate issues and seek advice from the customer, Project manager Engineering Manager in a timely manner.
5. Identify and document system integration components for recording in the configuration management system.
6. Engage with relevant stakeholders in documentation development.

Location: The role is based in Canberra.
Contract terms: Initial Term: 12 months (1 November 2022 – 31 October 2023)
Extension options: 3 x 12-month periods at the discretion of the Commonwealth.

SFIA security level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 4.
Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.
