About the role
Grain handlers at our country grain receival sites are critical to ensuring that we service local grain growers and customers efficiently and safely in receiving, storing, maintaining and out-loading grain. The grains we handle include wheat, barley and canola mainly but we also take in chickpeas, sorghum and other commodities.

The type of work you undertake depends on the skills, experience, knowledge and tickets or licences you hold as well as the requirements of the site at which you’re based. These attributes also help determine the grade we might appoint you at under our enterprise agreement. The agreement will also set out any provisions available to you such as overtime and/or allowances.
We provide you with the uniform, training and certifications required to perform your job effectively and safely. We’re also proud to provide genuine opportunities for our people to take on more responsibility, allowing them to progress further, if desired.
About your experience
Our ideal candidate has experience in plant operations in any industry. You have a genuine passion for, or interest in, the grains and wider agricultural industry. A reliable and flexible approach to work is required, including the willingness to work outside of ordinary hours and on weekends where required.

Though not essential, other licences, certifications and competencies that would be useful include H or M class truck licence, loader, skid-steer, first aid. In addition to providing proof of working rights and suitable professional referees, preferred candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical.
