Our engineers work with world-class technology which is all cloud based. Google Cloud technologies feature strongly, as well as Kafka, Cassandra, DSE Graph, Elastic and more. We have a strong emphasis on real-time but will also continue to leverage end-of-day processing for auto-healing and reconciliations. 

As a Data Engineer you will build and maintain pipelines using industry best practices. This includes learning about the business, building and maintain high quality software in a DevOps manner, and help automate its testing and delivery. 

Essential skills and experience: 

• Proven track record working in the data engineering space with cloud technologies 
• Strong understanding of all aspects of managing data including reconciliations, operations, data governance, extraction with CDC 
• Java programming experience 

Desirable skills and experience: 

• Google Cloud technologies such as DataFlow, PubSub and BigQuery 
• Experience with technologies such as Kafka, Elastic, Cassandra
