A vacancy has arisen in the NSW sales team that requires a Sales Professional from and Electrical Trade background.
Your new role
Are you in the Electrical Trade, but looking to progress into a sales role and off the tools? The role of Electrical Sales Representative is to drive sales and increase profitability within your allocated territory of Greater Western Sydney which includes everything West of and including Wetherill Park, Castle Hill and Liverpool, out to Penrith, Richmond and the Hawkesbury and into the Blue Mountains.
You will be required to grow and maintain existing accounts whilst actively seeking new business, targeting Electrical Contractors and Electrical Wholesalers in a push and pull-though channel strategy, targeting work in both the Commercial and Residential markets.
You will manage the sales process from idealisation to completion, providing an end to end seamless service. Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you will prepare monthly reports on competitor and market activity, project summaries and sales trends.
What you'll need to succeed
- Electrical Trade or Engineering background, able to talk to technical requirements of projects that Electrical Contractors are working on.
- Understanding of how Electrical Wholesalers operate and how to grow relationships with them - develop sales strategies; calling on end-users and contractors to win business and pull it through a branch, or generate relationships strong enough that they will recommend your products in branch.
- Preference for someone with a manufacturer / supplier, however they would also consider someone from a Wholesaler who is keen to make the change to work for a supplier.
- Someone with a customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering high customer service.
