Our client and one of Melbourne's industry leaders operates within the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne in mainly commercial settings and providing many different services. Your new role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and motivated Drainage Plumber to join a friendly team large scale commercial project. You will be a registered plumber who has a can-do attitude, an eye for detail and experience working within the drainage industry, with hydraulics and hot-and-cold water systems. You will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Preparing trenches and laying of storm water and sanitary drains
• Installing, connecting and testing underground sewage treatments such as septic tanks and pressurised treatment systems
• Installing drains whilst ensuring the use of adequate support systems
• Cutting and sealing disused underground drains
• Installing onsite disposal systems such as mulches, neutraliser tanks, above ground grease interceptors and septic tanks
• Installing overflow provisions, including overflow relief gullies and reflex valves
• Locating and clearing blockages in underground drains

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have sound knowledge of the industry and be able to work well with each other. As well as this you'll need:

• Knowledge and understanding of the plumbing industry elements, practices and operating procedures
• VBA registration
• White card
• Drivers license
• Own tools & transport
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
