Delivery and Engagement Officer Salary $78,377 to $83,793 Opportunity Type Full-Time Opportunity Status Ongoing APS Classification APS Level 5 Closing Date 03/10/2021 Posted17/09/2021 Print Department of Education, Skills and Employment Delivery and Engagement Officer Bendigo VIC Reporting to the Assistant Director, the Delivery and Engagement officer is responsible for effectively and efficiently managing contracts to maximise labour market program performance across Regional Victoria. The team engages with a wide range of stakeholders on behalf of the Department to ensure effective program design and delivery, working with service providers, employers, other Commonwealth, State and local government agencies and community groups that aim to get people into work. The key duties of the position include: Duties and Responsibilities * Building and maintaining relationships with a range of stakeholders including service providers * Actively monitoring and assessing performance and working closely with service providers to ensure the best possible outcomes for job seekers * Undertaking various administration tasks using a number of systems and programs * Developing formal written communication, including letters Qualifications and Education * Drivers license Capabilities * Be highly motivated, flexible and can adapt to change to meet current and future government priorities * Be able to build positive working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and to represent the department professionally at meetings and events * Possess strong administrative skills and the ability to follow processes and manage competing priorities Eligibility Please note, under section 22(8) of the Public Service Act 1999, employees must be Australian citizens to be employed in the APS unless the Agency delegate has agreed, in writing. This is a designated security assessed position. The successful candidate will have the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance. This selection process may be used to establish a merit pool. The pool might be accessed to fill ongoing and non-ongoing vacancies for similar roles in the Department over the next 12 months.
