EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST INVITED

Due to exception growth and success, the RPS Project Management team are seeking Expressions of Interest from highly motivated and qualified client-side: Assistant Project Managers, Project Managers, Senior Project Managers and Project Directors, who have previous experience in successfully delivering projects within the following industries:

• Defence (PM/CA), specifically with major capital facilities projects
• Aviation
• Education
• Commercial office fit-out
• Hospitality
• Federal Government; and or
• Health

About the team

Based in Griffith, Canberra, this fast-paced busy team are a market leader in project management, who specialise in the delivery of large complex projects. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the most influential and talented leaders in the industry.

About you

Assistant Project Manager

• Professional Qualification in architectural, engineering or similar desirable;
• An understanding and some experience with a range of delivery methodologies, for example, Head Contract, Managing Contractor and Design and Construct;
• Strong communications skills;
• Some experience managing small teams and developing client relationships;
• 1-2 years client-side experience as a PM/CA in the above-mentioned industries (preferable, but not essential); and
• AIPM Certified Practising Project Manager certification or equivalent would be viewed favourably.

Project Manager

• Tertiary qualifications in a construction related field;
• 4 years Project Management experience;
• A strong understanding and proven experience with a range of delivery methodologies, in particular, Head Contract, Managing Contractor and Design and Construct is preferable;
• Strong communications and leadership skills;
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage and grow business relationships;
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a timely and efficient manner; and
• AIPM Certified Practising Project Manager certification or equivalent would be viewed favourably.

Senior Project Manager

• Tertiary qualifications in a construction related field;
• 5+years client-side experience as a PM/CA in the above-mentioned industries;
• A strong understanding and proven experience with a range of delivery methodologies, in particular, Head Contract, Managing Contractor and Design and Construct is preferable;
• Strong communications and leadership skills;
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage and grow business relationships;
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a timely and efficient manner; and
• AIPM Certified Practising Project Manager certification or equivalent would be viewed favourably.

Project Director

• Tertiary qualifications in a construction related field;
• 6 years Project Management experience;
• Demonstrated ability to manage business relationships with a track record of successful negotiation and resolution of contentious issues;
• Proven capacity to successfully manage contracts including the ability to understand, interpret and respond to management, operational and financial information and trends;
• Strong communications and leadership skills;
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage and grow business relationships;
• Demonstrated capacity to deal with conflicting client requirements and address complex problems within a changing work environment; and
• AIPM Certified Practising Project Manager certification or equivalent would be viewed favourably.
