Accounts Payable Clerk

Your new company
A leading global business working in the manufacturing & distribution sector are looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis for approximately 3-months. The role will be to cover for annual leave and assist with backlog of invoices. Working out of their Mulgrave offices, you will have 3 weeks of handover and constant support from your peers during your assignment.

Your new role
Reporting to the financial controller your duties will include:

• Entering & coding invoices
• Processing weekly & monthly payment runs
• Reconciliations of supplier statements
• Action & respond to AP queries
• Back up to accounts receivable functions

What you'll need to succeed

• Prior experience with AP processing is essential
• Experience using an ERP system
• Excellent attention to detail
• Great problem solving and data entry skills
• Ability to meet strict deadlines
