VINTAGE-lovers will make a toast to the past this Sunday at the Dunolly Art of Elegance Fair. The township’s historic town hall will be transformed into a bustling marketplace of stalls, featuring fashion, antiques and collectors items, accompanied by a serving of high tea nostalgia.Event graphic designer and stylist Tiffany Titshall said the Art of Elegance Fair would provide over and above the average market fan fare.“I was initially approached by Monika (Roleff) with the idea,” she said. “It was just so visually inspirational – I had to say yes to being involved.“She has always been very interested in the old ways, vintage and the regency era.“It’s the decorative appeal of the venue that helps inspire us to make the event special, not just a market but stepping back in time and pampering ourselves with elegant things. This is our way of celebrating those times.”The fair will host a number of local and regional traders. There will be flower arranging competitions, music and artwork, all relating to elegance of times gone by.A selection of vintage clothing, homewares and various souvenir ephemera will be made available for purchase. Visitors are also encouraged to bring along their own items for appraisal. The event will take place at the Dunolly Town Hall on Broadway from 11am-4pm.
