A NEW medical centre with room for eight GPs has opened in Epsom.Tristar Medical Group will house eight general practitioners along with a practice nurse and on-site pathology collection centre and will have a shared database with the Eaglehawk centre. The database will allow patient records to be shared between sites, meaning all relevant medical history will be available after hours to the treating practitioner.Tristar practitioners will be placed on an on-call roster to ensure care is available to the community 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Epsom clinic, on the Midland Highway, was opened by Minister for Regional and Rural Development Jacinta Allan.
