THREE new COVID-19 case diagnoses mean Greater Bendigo has the second highest infection rate of unrestricted areas.
The new diagnoses bring the total number of active cases within Greater Bendigo to four.
Only Greater Geelong has more cases, despite being unrestricted, with six active cases.

Premier Daniel Andrews explained a set of criteria Victoria's public health team used to determine areas with high rates of transmission, when he announced the first postcode-based lockdown on June 30.
These were:
- Identifying local government areas with more than two times the state case rate
- Reviewing postcodes within the local government area
- Identifying priority suburbs with more than five cases and a rate of cases greater than 20 per 100,000
Mr Andrews is yet to comment on whether the same criteria will be used to evaluate case rates in unrestricted areas.
It is not clear which suburbs within Greater Bendigo the latest diagnosed cases reside.
Greater Bendigo's has less than five per cent of the cases in Melbourne's worst hit local government areas.
Hume - Bendigo's closes metropolitan shire - has been the hardest hit, with 143 active cases.
Melbourne city has 128, Wyndham 133.

GREATER Bendigo has reported three new COVID-19 cases, just hours after Melbourne entered strict lockdown.
It brings the total number of active coronavirus cases in Greater Bendigo to four.
The three cases are among new 165 diagnoses confirmed in Victoria on Thursday.
There are now 932 active COVID-19 cases in Victoria.
This brings the total cases in Victoria to 3098. About 475 of these could be from community transmission.
Bendigo's caseload is now two-thirds of that of Greater Geelong and the Mitchell Shire, both of which have six active COVID-19 cases.
The Bendigo cases are the only reported active cases in central Victoria.
Bendigo Health has confirmed it is not treating anyone for COVID-19, and it did not diagnose these cases.
The new cases come after two diagnoses in late June, early July - Bendigo's first in months. Only one of these remains active.
Thirteen COVID-19 cases have been diagnosed in the local government area across all time.
Residents of Metropolitan Melbourne and the Mitchell Shire have been ordered to stay at home, after a spike in COVID-19 cases.
The Mitchell Shire has six active cases.
