The Bendigo golfer currently sits at 64 on the Asian Tour Habitat for Humanity Standings and to retain his full tour card “it would be ideal to be safely within the top 60”.
“I’m playing in Jakarta next and if I can have one more good week then we will see what happens,” Martin said.
“There’s no point thinking about it, as it won’t help my golf so I will go out next week and play my best.”
“It’s all out of my control. I will still have a category entry next year so I will still get a few events out of that.”
Approaching the end of his debut year on the Asian Tour, Martin was happy with how the year had panned out.
Martin finished in a tie for sixth at Friday’s Shepparton Masters pro-am tournament and will head to Indonesia next week where he will play at the Royale Jakarta Golf Course from December 13-16.
