After thrashing Qatar in Qatar on Friday and then returning to Australia to dispose of Kazakhstan at Bendigo Stadium on Monday night, the Boomers players back-up in Bendigo on Thursday for the National Basketball League Blitz pre-season tournament.
Lisch's Sydney Kings play in the marquee game against the Cairns Taipans at Bendigo Stadium on Thursday night.
"It's a great time for us to get together and build on what we've been doing in the pre-season.
"We're learning how to play with each other and this is a chance to play against other NBL teams to get us ready for our first regular season game on October 13.
"You play to win and you want to win, but the main thing is we want to play basketball the right away to get us ready for our first game."
The NBL Blitz also includes two games for each team in Ballarat this weekend.
Lisch has had plenty of travel and game time in the past five days, but that doesn't mean he'll be putting his feet up at the Blitz.
"There's been quite a bit of travel, but some of the other guys are in the same boat.
"Our fitness staff will evaluate things after each game and we'll see how we go. Right now, I'm ready to go."
After signing Andrew Bogut in the off-season, the Sydney Kings are the hype team of the NBL.
While some basketball experts are declaring the Kings NBL title favourite, Lisch said his side's sole focus is getting better each week.
"We've added some great guys and great basketball players and now it's a process of us putting it together,'' he said.
"The experience the new guys bring combined with the young players... we're having so much fun.
"We're looking forward to the season."
The NBL Blitz will be the Kings' second trip to Bendigo in four weeks after playing Melbourne United in a pre-season game in late August.
Lisch was impressed by the new multi-million dollar Bendigo Stadium
"The Bendigo Stadium is beautiful,'' he said.
"It's definitley one of the better stadiums of that size that we've played in."
Tickets for the NBL Blitz are available via Ticketek.
