The championship event saw swimmers competing against the best junior swimmers Australia has to offer in their respective age groups.
Competing in the 14-year-old girls division, Layla Day swam to a bronze medal in the 100m backstroke in a time of 1:04.30.
Day also made the final of the 200m backstroke where she finished fifth in 2:23.25. Day was 12th in the 100m butterfly, 12th in the 50m freestyle, 22nd in the 100m freestyle and 24th in the 200m medley relay.
Cameron Jordan made the final in two 16-year-old boys events. Jordan was sixth in the 100m breaststroke in 1.05.67 and sixth in the 200m breaststroke in 2:23.86.
Katerina Pizzo had a busy schedule in the 15-16-year-old multi-class. Pizzo won bronze medals in the 50m breaststroke in 49.76 and 100m breaststroke in 1:52.0. Her time of 1:53.29 in the 100m butterfly was a national record for S7 classification.
Pizzo also finished sixth in the 50m backstroke in 48.27, fifth in the 100m backstroke in 1.43.24, seventh in the 100m freestyle in 1:28.99 and 10th in the 50m butterfly in 51.59, 13th in the 50m freestyle.
Layla Day, Lily Eldridge, Zalli Lau and Varlee Nihill finished ninth in the 13-14 200m medley relay.
