The Bendigo Craft Beer Festival will fill Tom Flood Sports Centre with 21 brewers set to show off their best drops.
Now in its sixth year, organiser Darrell Billett said he expected an eager crowd to enjoy the day.
“For us it is about making sure everything we have done in past is done again,” he said.
“Last year we had a touch under 2000, we’d like to have that again or even a few more.
“Ticket sales are up on where they were last year but a lot of Bendigo people will get last minute tickets.”
As well as their best beers, some breweries will also showcase ciders, ginger beer and even wine.
Local brewers include Brookes Beer, True Brew, Cornella Real, Tooborac Hotel and Brewery, Castlemaine’s Shedshaker brewing, Harcourt Valley Vineyards, Blue Elephant Beverage from Harcourt Valley and Bandicoot Brewing of Echuca.
“It’s phenomenal how much growth there has been in craft beer,” Mr Billett said.
“This event is about bringing beers to Bendigo you might not normally get a chance to sample before you buy.”
