And that is why Ashleigh Turtur and Jas Singh from AFS & Associates decided to take part in the World’s Greatest Shave.
Jas Singh had been growing his beard since 2016 and chose to shave it off to help raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation.
“It's a devastating condition that affects far too many Australian's each and every day. We all have stories to tell of ourselves, friends or relatives that have been affected in some way by cancer,” he said.

Ashleigh chose to donate the multiple 36cm plaits of hair to Hair for Heart where it will be turned into wigs for individuals suffering hair loss.
“My New Year’s resolution was to become more selfless, and I thought what better way than cutting and donating my hair to be made into a specialised wig for someone who has lost their hair due to a medical condition,” she said.
