Bibby’s Mississippi State enters as one of the favourites after compiling a 30-0 regular season record.
The Bulldogs, however, lost their South East Conference final against South Carolina 51-62.
Bibby, a freshman, is averaging 4.7 points, 2,4 rebounds and .5 assists in her first season in the United States.
The 19-year-old, who last year represented Australia at the FIBA World Under-19 Cup, scored a season-high 13 points in a win over Louisiana in November.
She has 13 steals and four blocked shots for the season.
Bibby, who is originally from Warracknabeal, played one season for the Lady Braves in 2017, but missed both their east conference championship win and national championship loss following her departure to the US.
The former Dandenong Rangers WNBL youngster averaged 17.3 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists in her 18 games for the Lady Braves.
