Spring Gully has home ground advantage for the second v third contest, but that shouldn’t be of any concern for Maiden Gully given it defeated the Crows on their home deck last week.
The Crows’ side features the player who finished No.1 in the Addy’s MVP rankings in all-rounder Rhys Webb, with he (562) and Lachlan Brook (435) both among the competition’s top four leading run-scorers.
Maiden Gully has won its past three games, with strong bowling performances a feature of its victories in which it has dismissed Spring Gully for 120, West Bendigo for 138 and United for 161 through an even spread of contributors with the ball.
Season meetings:
Round 3 – Spring Gully 7-243 d Maiden Gully 7-171.
Round 14 – Maiden Gully 168 & 3-71 d Spring Gully 120.
Since 2008 – Spring Gully 10; Maiden Gully 2.
Prediction – Spring Gully.

Minor premier Sedgwick will host fourth-placed Mandurang in the weekend’s other semi-final.
The Rams entered the season shaping as the team to beat after a strong recruiting campaign as they continue to chase their elusive first division one premiership.
Sedgwick has lost just two of its matches and has comfortably had the measure of the Rangas in both their encounters so far.
Matt Dwyer (562 runs) and Jordan Ilsley (31 wickets, 215 runs) shape as two of the key players for the Rams this weekend, while Mandurang skipper James Pietromonaco, who has taken 24 wickets, is coming off a five-wicket bag against Golden Gully last week.
A win this weekend would qualify the Rangas for their second-consecutive grand final.
Season meetings:
Round 8 – Sedgwick 9-232 d Mandurang 6-165.
Round 13 – Sedgwick 234 d Mandurang 93 & 5-109.
Since 2008 – Mandurang 7; Sedgwick 4.
Prediction – Sedgwick.
