Ed Sheeran has officially sold a record one million tickets for his massive 18-show stadium tour of Australia and New Zealand.
The English musician has smashed Dire Straits' record of 950,000 set during the band's 1986 tour.
Sheeran will also offer exclusive merchandise to Australian fans through Divide pop-up stores in a world-first.
The Grammy winner was the best-selling recording artist of last year.
Sheeran will begin his tour in Perth, performing the first concert event at the new Optus Stadium on Friday night.
Some eager fans have already begun camping at the venue, with a group of friends planning to attend all of his shows on this tour.
