Police said the man, who was arrested this morning, had been remanded in custody.
Further charges include recklessly causing injury, threat to kill, disqualified driving, failing to stop when signalled by police, driving in a manner dangerous, speeding, possess ammunition, possess controlled weapon, handle stolen goods, breach intervention order, resist emergency worker, and commit indictable offence whilst on bail.
The man is expected to appear in the Bendigo Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning.
Senior Constable Adam Gornowicz said police investigations into the matters were ongoing.
A second man is being held for questioning.
EARLIER: Police have arrested two males in relation to alleged burglary offences, theft of motor vehicle, theft from motor vehicle and drug offences.
Acting Sergeant Mick Delaney said the two Bendigo men, both in their 20s, were now in police custody.
“One of the them has been taken to Bendigo police station and the other to Bendigo hospital with minor injuries,” said Acting Sergeant Delaney.
Police confirmed they also found a loaded firearm in a stolen vehicle at a crime scene in Gladstone Street, Quarry Hill.
“We’re happy to see the weapon be taken off the streets,” Acting Sergeant Delaney said.
There were also two females that were transported to Bendigo police station to assist police with their inquiries.
Acting Sergeant Delaney said the alleged stolen vehicle, a red commodore, was seen driving around Epsom, Ascot, White Hills and Quarry Hill.
“Good result for the police to see these guys off the streets,” Acting Sergeant Delaney said.
