As she did on day one of the championships, McCaig led the charge by scoring gold in the women’s under-17 sprint.
It was the 14-year-old’s third gold after earlier successes in the 500m time trial and under-17 women’s team pursuit on Wednesday.
Jasmine Eddy added to the medal haul by winning silver in the women’s under-15 individual pursuit.
It was another spectacular ride by Eddy, who in December won the junior women’s scratch event at the Austral Wheelrace and Australian Madison Championships and snared a swag of silver medals at last month’s state championships.
Not to be outdone, Alex Allott claimed silver in the men’s under-17 sprint.
In an another solid effort, Patrick Eddy narrowly missed out on a medal with a fifth-place finish in the under-17 individual pursuit
The quartet is among seven Bendigo riders in the 20-member Victorian team, alongside Blake Agnoletto, Jacob Henery and Ruby McLean.
The championships continue until February 24.
