Bendigo Theatre Company will present Fiddler on the Roof and are starting their preparations with an information night on Monday.
Fiddler on the Roof follows the story of Jewish milkman Tevye in czarist Russia.
Tevye struggles to balance his rigid faith-based traditions with his hidden desire to let his daughters follow their hearts.
The show has strong themes of family, love and tradition that continue to resonate with audiences of all generations.
Young director Bevan Madden will be at the helm of the production that will be in Ulumbarra Theatre from July 5 to 8.
The show will also feature a live orchestra as well as traditional Russian and Jewish dances choreographed by traditional dance specialist Anita Scott.
