Square is celebrating its centenary this weekend, with plenty of past players expected back at Wade Street throughout Saturday afternoon to watch the BDCA clash against the Goers.
“It’s obviously going to be a big weekend for the club and you’d expect there to be a fairly strong presence of past players, so we’re going to be very keen to perform in front of those boys,” Gunn said on Friday.
As well as performing well in front of its past players, Square also has the incentive of striving to reclaim its position in the top two.

Square slipped from second to third last week following its tie with Kangaroo Flat and Sandhurst’s outright victory over Bendigo.
In what’s a logjam at the top of the ladder, just four points separates the top three teams – Strathdale (52), Sandhurst (49) and Golden Square (48) – with two rounds remaining.

An area of focus for Square this week has been to get more out of its top order after it was 6-20 against Kangaroo Flat last round, before fighting its way to 142.
“We’ve had a strong focus on our top six to get the job done. There’s a bit of pressure on us, but I’m confident we’re good enough to respond well,” Gunn said.
