City of Greater Bendigo showcases the talents of young artists within the region

The City of Greater Bendigo’s Raw Arts Awards are back for 2018.

The awards are part of the city’s commitment to showcasing the talents and artistic efforts of young people within the Bendigo region.

There are four award categories which include visual arts, digital media, literature and performing arts.

Entries are open to City of Greater Bendigo residents aged 25 years and under as of May 17 2018.

Applicants are permitted to submit one entry in each category and may enter in more than one category.

The entered work will be judged by a panel of arts professionals and their decision is final, no correspondence will be entered into after the final decision has been made.

On Thursday May 17 Dudley House and The Capital will host the Raw Arts Showcase, a celebration of the work that has been submitted to the 2018 Raw Arts Awards and where the winners will also be announced.

Hard copy applications can be delivered to The Capital Box Office, View Street Bendigo or posted to 'RAW Arts' City of Greater Bendigo, 50 View Street, Bendigo 3550.

Entries close on Monday April 23 at 5pm.
