Police have questioned a 36-year-old Pyramid Hill woman in relation to the incident.
She also had her blood alcohol concentration tested and returned a reading of 0.158.
Her licence will be suspended and she is expected to be charged.
EARLIER: Police are investigating after a freight train slammed into an abandoned car in Pyramid Hill early on Tuesday morning.
The crash happened about 2.20am, near where the Boort-Pyramid Road meets with Victoria Street.
The freight train pushed the vehicle about 300 metres up the track.
No one was injured and the train was not derailed.
Police are looking into the circumstances of the crash, including how the car came to be left on the tracks.
