Bendigo is in for a sunny morning, heading towards a top of 37 degrees.
But showers are developing and there is a high chance the city will see rain in the afternoon and evening, and possibly a thunderstorm.

The events
Highlights of Australia Day ceremonies include barbecues, live entertainment, family activities and community displays.
Lake Weeroona
The official City of Greater Bendigo Australia Day event is at Lake Weeroona.
The celebrations run from 9am to 3pm, with the official ceremony at 10.30am.

The Eaglehawk ceremony is at the Canterbury Park Sound Shell, from 8.30am to 11am.
Kangaroo Flat
Kangaroo Flat’s event is on from 8am to 10am at 1A Station Street.
