Extreme heat has forced organisers to postpone the annual Axedale Quick Shear and Family Fun Day until next month.

The event will now be held on Saturday, February 24 instead of the original date of Saturday, January 27.
The Quick Shear is an annual community fundraiser for the town with proceeds going to the Axedale School, Axedale Preschool, Axedale CFA and Axedale Public Hall.
Entertainment on the day is headlined by competitors showing off their quick shear skills to find out who is the fastest shear.
This year the Bendigo Radio Controlled Car club will showcase remote-controlled car racing at its best and give people the chance to race as well.
Kids will be entertained with a train ride, jumping castles, face painting, a petting zoo, show bags and colouring. Shaun The Sheep DVDs will also be available to buy.
Families can also enjoy the the Beaut Ute competition, wander through the market stalls and try their luck on the spinning wheel and enjoy the barbecue and bar.
A silent auction will also offer lots of items to bid on.
