Bendigo detectives are investigating the stabbing of a man in Long Gully on Monday night.

Shortly after 11.30pm, emergency services were called to a property in Wells Street, where they found a 39-year-old man with a stab wound.
The man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries for treatment.
The offender fled the scene before police arrived, but it is believed the offender and the victim are known to one another.
No arrests have been made and Bendigo Crime Investigation Unit continues to look into the incident.
