A woman has lost her licence after police caught her driving at more than five times the legal blood alcohol limit at the weekend.

Police saw a vehicle speeding near the intersection of of Echuca-Nanneella and Power Road at Nanneella shortly before 7.30pm on Sunday.
The vehicle was seen braking heavily on Craig Road, before accelerating onto Power Road and stopping a short distance from the intersection.
Police approached the vehicle and conducted a preliminary breath test
The 38-year-old driver from Echuca gave a positive reading and was taken back to the station for an evidentiary test, to which she returned a blood alcohol concentration reading of .278.
Her licence was immediately suspended for 12 months and her vehicle was impounded.
She is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving.
