Former Bendigo United team-mates Ben Gunn and Miggy Podosky back on the same team again.
Perhaps Jeremy Brown and Kyle Humphrys batting together.
Mitch Winter-Irving charging in and letting rip at Gavin Bowles.
Maybe Linton Jacobs taking a catch off the bowling of his brother, Cory.
It sounds a bit like the NBA’s version of the All-Star Game.
Which is what sparked this hypothetical scenario of what would a BDCA All-Star game potentially look like given the pool of starters for the upcoming NBA All-Star game next month with teams to be captained by LeBron James and Steph Curry were announced on Friday.
While the NBA All-Star game features voting by fans, players and select media, the Addy’s Adam Bourke and Luke West simply took turns in picking a team of 12 to play in a two-day BDCA All-Star game.
There were no restrictions on the team selection – pick whatever 12 you want, put it into a batting order and open it up to the public to vote on which team they think would come out on top.
Bourkey won the coin toss and had the first selection, taking Strathdale’s Cameron Taylor with his No.1 pick, while Westy took Golden Square’s Ben Gunn with his opening choice.
So, which team wins?
