Megan Williams camp manager said at the camps children get the opportunity to create their own unique programs and games by inputting various codes into a program operated by Code Camp.
“They’re using a program to create a working game that anyone can play, literally from nothing to a fully working program,” Mrs Williams said.
Ben Levi Code Camp co-founder said the camps are more than just coding.
“It’s about creating and learning about all the logic that goes into a downloadable application,” Mr Levi said.
Code Camp participant Jacob said he enjoyed learning about coding and seeing all his work turn into a functioning computer game.
