Hot weather sees mall cricket screening cancelled
A public screening of the one-day international cricket match between Australia and England has had to be cancelled due to the forecast of extremely hot weather.

The City of Greater Bendigo had planned to broadcast the match in Hargreaves Mall on Friday afternoon and evening, following two days of screening of the Australian Open.
There was due to be a pop-up bar for the telecast, as well as seating and shade.
But a forecast maximum of 43 degrees in the city on Friday has forced the event’s cancellation.
