Traffic through the intersection of Williamson and Myers street was restricted as crews worked to clear the scene.
A Ford Focus collided with the rear of a Mercedes on the southbound side of Williamson Street. Airbags were deployed, meaning the fire brigade, police and ambulance were called to attend.
There were no injuries and the Ford was towed from the scene.
