Bendigo Theatre Company’s pantomime Beauty and the Beast will delight families this summer when it opens on Friday.
With all the traditional fun and slapstick audiences expect from a pantomimes, Beauty and the Beast.
The show follows Belle (Morgan McDermott) and her adventures with the Beast (Mason Hingston) and the arrogant and scheming Jacque (Zachary Fitzpatrick) but also features modern songs, comedy, magic, and nonsense particularly from the dame played by Daniel Soncin.
Director Jordan French said at least half of the 34-person strong cast is new to Bendigo Theatre Company.
“I love welcoming new people and I would love people to be welcomed with open arms the same way I was three years ago,” he said.
BTC’s pantomime Beauty and the Beast is on January 18, 19, 20, 21, 25, 26 and 27 from 7pm. Shows are also on January 20, 21, 27 and 28 at 2pm.
