Back in action: Midweek pennant bowlers to return on Monday

BENDIGO will be aiming to pick up from where it left off when the BBD midweek pennant season resumes on Monday.

After going winless through its first three games Bendigo reeled off five victories in a row – four of them by double-figure margins – leading into the mid-season break.

Ladder-leader Kangaroo Flat – which belted Bendigo by 32 shots in round two – lost its final game before the break to Bendigo East by 20 shots, which has closed the buffer between top spot and fourth to just 12 points.
