Community wellbeing director Karen Stevens said the council wanted people to consider the roles art and culture play in their everyday lives in the Arts and Cultural Strategy 2018-2028.
“We’re looking to get a comprehensive overview of people’s ideas, challenges and priorities that will support our local arts and cultural economy and contribute to a sense of place that is important to our local community,” she said.
Submissions close Thursday, February 1 and it is anticipated that the draft strategy will be open for public comment in April this year.
