A GUN triathlete for many seasons, Leon Griffin won his second leg in this summer’s Adam Parker Electrical-backed Tuesday Night Series for athletes at Flora Hill.

The 37-year-old was based in the United States for several years, but Bendigo is home again.

Griffin raced to victory in the 5000m at the La Trobe University Bendigo athletics complex in a time of 16:30.45.
