Emu Valley has announced a squad of 16 players ahead of the annual carnival, which will be played next week.
Emu Valley is playing in division one for the fourth straight year and will begin its campaign on Monday against Northern Districts at Rochester’s Windridge Oval.
Emu Valley squad – Rick Ladson (capt), Brad Webster, Scott Ross, Matt Dwyer, Darcy Poulter, Andrew Sheehan, Kansas Varker, Tom Wilson, Greg Thomas, James Pietromonaco, Rhys Webb, Jeremy Hancock, Quinton Bentley, Luke Rafferty, Jordan Ilsley.
The squad will hold a compulsory training this Sunday at Weeroona Oval from 9.30am to noon.

Also playing in division one will be the promoted Castlemaine, Gisborne, Murray Valley and defending premier Goulburn Murray.

Meanwhile, Upper Loddon has named its team for its first game of the carnival.
Upper Loddon, which is being captained by Adam Murphy, is competing in division three and will play its first game against Bendigo Colts at White Hills on Monday.

The Upper Loddon season resumes from its Christmas-New Year break this Saturday with a one-day round.
