The singer-songwriter recorded his debut EP – Nothing To Lose – in LA with record label Indasoul Records.

“We have released one song already and with these shows are getting ready to release the second song,” Lucas said.

Having performed a hometown show in Tatura as well as Goulburn Valley shows in Mulwala, Rushworth and Shepparton, Lucas has shows booked in Bendigo for January and March.

Lucas has been performing since he was six years old.

The Tatura product has also appeared on X Factor in 2015 and US show the World Championships of Performing Arts where he finished in the top 10.

“When I was six I started getting singing lessons and then went on to perform local gigs and festivals,” Lucas said.

“When I did shows like X Factor, I found people to help me and it started to take off from there.”

Lucas made the boot camp week of X Factor after impressing judges Guy Sebastian, Dannii Minogue, Chris Isaak and James Blunt.

”It was really eye-opening for me to see the industry like that and to see how much competition there is just in Australia,” Lucas said.

“It was great to work with people like Chris Isaak and meet so many people behind the scenes.”

From his reality show efforts, Lucas was offered a record deal in LA but waited to sign it.

“I held off because I was in school and unsure what to do at that age. After school I was sure this is what I want to do,” he said.

“My music is very fun music.l like to take audience on a great experience and aim to make everyone smile.

“My goal is to make people stop worrying for a couple hours and just enjoy themselves.”

Anthony Lucas performs at the MusicMan Megastore in Bendigo on January 12. 

He also performs at Bendigo Showgrounds on March 23, 24 and 25.
