Charles McKenzie Ross Evans, 44, made no application for bail in his appearance on Tuesday morning.
The Kyneton man was remanded in custody pending a committal mention in Bendigo on May 16.
Mr Evans was arrested and charged with a single count of murder following Ms Little’s death at a rural property on Lavenders Lane on December 28.
Several family and friends of Ms Little and Mr Evans attended the court on Tuesday.
