Using a formula of 1 run = 1 point; 1 wicket = 20 points; 1 catch = 10 points; and one stumping or run out = 15 points, Humphrys has been the clear standout all-round performer so far this season.

With 399 runs, 21 wickets and three catches, Humphrys has already amassed 849 MVP points.

His nearest rival is Strathdale-Maristians’ Cameron Taylor with 641 points.

In the Emu Valley Cricket Association West Bendigo’s Travis O’Connell is both the competition’s leading run-scorer (577) and out in front in the MVP rankings with 677 points.
