Eighty-nine Powercor customers in Ravenswood are without power due to storm activity as of Thursday morning, with a further five in the area experiencing blackout because of a cause that is unknown.
Six properties at Taradale are also without power, as are eight in Kyabram.
Storms on Tuesday night knocked out power to 11,500 premises in Bendigo alone, and some 63,000 across the state.
On Wednesday afternoon there were still more than 1500 customers waiting to be reconnected in the Bendigo region, and 487 in areas near Castlemaine.
In a statement released on Wednesday afternoon, Powercor said the extent of the damage meant some people would remain without power into Thursday.
“As a result, restoration may take longer than usual and we apologise for the inconvenience this may cause,” the company said.
