A few days out out from the big day, the Bureau of Meteorology has forecast it will be mostly sunny right across the region, with Bendigo set to reach a top of 28 degrees.
On Boxing Day, the mercury will climb to 33 degrees but stay at 29 degrees in Melbourne for people making the trek to the Boxing Day test.
Elsewhere on Christmas Day, Echuca has a forecast maximum of 30 degrees, Redesdale 26, Maryborough 26, Castlemaine 25, and Kyneton 22.
Meanwhile, Christmas Eve will be partly cloudy, while Boxing Day should be mostly sunny.
