ELMORE opening batsmen Matt Gilmour and Chris Smith both scored centuries in a Redbacks’ run-feast against Raywood on Saturday.

The Redbacks blasted 3-276 off their 40 overs, with the innings featuring a 224-run opening partnership between Gilmour and Smith.
Gilmour’s brilliant all-round season continued as he cracked 149, while Smith made 101.
Following their onslaught, the pair are now the two leading run-scorers in the competition – Gilmour with 320 and Smith 293.
The pair both outscored Raywood on their own.
Raywood was all out for 89 in its chase as the ladder-leading Redbacks won by 187 runs to go into the Northern United mid-season break undefeated.
Only Braden Latter (31) and Deepam Shah (24) scored in double figures for Raywood, which had three of its top five batsmen dismissed for ducks.
Luke Price was the chief destroyer with the ball for the Redbacks in taking 5-32.
• Bagshot inflicted Dingee’s first loss since round one, winning by 67 runs.
Bagshot compiled 7-156 batting first led by 37 from opener Ben Hamilton and 33 to captain Matthew Jeffries, who continued his consistent season.
Scott Lawry (3-28) was the leading wicket-taker for Dingee, which was bowled out for 89 in reply.
Jeffries did the bulk of the damage for Bagshot in snaring 4-18.
The Dingee top-order failed to fire as the reigning premiers slumped to 6-46 early in their chase.
• In the other two games Calivil forfeited against Heathcote and Colbinabbin forfeited for the second week in a row, this time against Goornong, which won its first game.
UPPER LODDON
Kingower produced a punishing batting performance against Newbridge in their Upper Loddon one-day match.
Kingower scored at 8.6 runs per over in blasting 5-302 off their 35 overs, which was spearheaded by an unbeaten 106 to Ryan McNish and 70 from Tyrone Downie, who both had their first hits of the season.
Newbridge got just over halfway to its target as it replied with 8-158, with Luke Cassells again top-scoring with 51.
• Inglewood (5-149) won its third game with a 15-run victory over Wedderburn (8-134).
Inglewood’s Rhys Roberts made the game’s top score of 75, while team-mate Robert Stranger (4-13) and Wedderburn’s D. Kleehammer (4-40) both took four wickets.
• Arnold (8-145) proved too good for Serpentine (97).
Arnold posted a winning score batting first having been 3-5 early, with the rescue mission led by Cody Anderson (61) – who later took 4-15 – and opener Cameron Dale (41 n.o.), as well as being aided by Serpentine conceding 34 sundries.
• Boort-Yando (5-178) and Bridgewater (4-178) played out the second tie of the season.
Boort-Yando has been involved in both ties, with the other being against Arnold in round three.
