POLICE are investigating after a petrol bomb was thrown at a house in California Gully on Saturday night.

Emergency services were called to the house on Llewellyn Court at 9.50pm.
The bomb hit the roof of the house and started a small fire, which was quickly extinguished by nearby residents and the CFA.
No damage was caused.
The offenders were believed to be in a vehicle when they threw the petrol bomb at the house.
Detective Senior Constable Andy Heazlewood said police were still trying to establish a motive for the attack.
