The group believes transport policy will form a crucial part in determining state electorates, in particular in regional areas.
The alliance says has campaigned for several years about the lack of viable transport policy for rail passenger and freight services and called for service and rail upgrades across the central Victoria electorates.
The group believes successive Victorian government transport upgrades have largely ignored the the re-commissioning of the rail link between Castlemaine and Maryborough.
Labor holds both Bendigo seats with Jacinta Allan the incumbent in Bendigo East, and Maree Edwards in Bendigo West.
